The best of NMACC

Nita Ambani’s NMACC didn’t just aim towards bringing the best out of India but also bringing the best in India. All those dazzling looks already proved that. From west to east, everyone showed their diverse style. We just got to witness how miscellaneous India is.

From Gigi Hadid’s traditional Indian look to Kriti Sanon’s modern playing with Indian textile, NMACC literally brought the diversity of India.

Let’s jump into the dramatic and gleaming night, dedicated to celebrate Indian Fashionand see who owned it:

Gigi “The royal” Hadid

Gribi Hadid looked like an Indian princess inAbu Jani and Sandeep Khoshal, the white Chikankari Saree and all those golden details literally reminded me of Paro’ from the movie “Devdas”. The two piece Saver featuring a gold gold embellished top made her looked more desi than most of the desis.

Priyanka “The desi girl” chopna Jonas

Our very oven desi girl came out with a modern twist. Her 65 years of upcycled look made of a 65 years old Banarasi patola saree by Amit Aggarwal was an “amalgamation of the east and the west” as she said, And If we talk about Priyanka, we have to mention the youngest Jonas brother, Nick Jonas complemented I his weite’s look with a dark hued blazers and pants perfectly.

Bhumi “The heavenly” Pednekar.

With her old shoulder gown designed by Anamika Khanna, Bhumi Pednekan looked like she just Came out from a fantasy world. But more than her dress we need to talk about her headpiece which just Changed the game. Her monochromatic look was different and heavenly.

Zendaya “The diva”

Zendaya looked just like a 90’s bollywood actress with her hand embroidered ” perdure’ Saree gown by Rahul Mishna. For The first time I saw her look, I immediately found the resemblance of Dipika Padukone’s Shanti from “Om Shanti Om”

Sunny Kaushal

Sunny Kaushal served us with a royal look in silver ensemble by the designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil. He wore a gray jacket with ornate silver embroidery and paired it with loose pants, silver jewelry, and black loafers. His sheer shirt featured an embroidered design similar to his jacket.

Kriti Sanon

A lot of celebrities tried to switch the traditional Indian garments up with western twists but Kriti literally was on a next level. The way the banarasi saree draped on her body gave a very global look. Her saree had a halter strap that looped across the actor’s shoulder, as well as a high slit and a draping cape. According to designer’s instagram Monisha Jaising created the actor’s ensemble.

We have mentioned very few looks here but the NMACC event was full of dazzling looks and we cant wait to see more of Indian fashion on an international scale.
